The Katrina Halili - Hayden Kho sex tape was a huge scandal in the Philippenes in 2009. The video appeared online and on black-market DVDs in May 2009.

The story remained tabloid fodder for months. The sex tape was reportedly leaked by Kho's friend Eric Johnson Chua without either Halili's or Kho's consent, possibly as revenge after Kho slept with Chua's girlfriend. Then there were rumors that another Kho girlfriend, cosmetics entrepreneur Vicky Belo, conspired with Chua to steal and release the sex tape. There were rumors that Kho had taped his sexual encounters with several other women, with or without their knowledge. Halili urged the National Bureau of Investigation to look into the case. For his part, Kho claimed that Halili had supplied him with drugs that clouded his judgment.

Many Filipino politicians proposed revoking Kho's medical license or even filing criminal charges. Some in the Philippenes worry that grandstanding over the Katrina Halili - Hayden Kho might lead to new internet censorship. And some worry that the sex tape hysteria is exacerbating a repressive sexual morality which they would rather see loosened.
